I've had good experiences ordering carryout from sweetgreen several times. The ordering process is easy online and via their app. They make customizations easy, and you can save diet preferences so they'll be flagged when you're looking at the menu. My orders are always accurate and ready on time. Their selection of food is fresh, and some of my favorite meals have come from their featured bowls. I usually visit at night, so I can grab a space right out front, but I imagine during the day parking may be a bit harder to come by.
Sweetgreen on Colorado and 2nd is my new lunchtime obsession—like, borderline restraining order levels of obsession. I got the miso salmon bowl and it was so good I blacked out halfway through and woke up licking the bowl like a rescue dog. Fresh, flavorful, and healthy in that “I’m being a responsible adult but still having a flavor party in my mouth” kinda way. It’s the kind of place that tricks you into thinking you’re making good life choices… even though you’re spending $14 on salad and contemplating a second round. I wanna go back every single day, but I’m afraid I’ll ruin the magic. Like watching too much “Ted Lasso”—you love it, but you gotta pace yourself. This isn’t just lunch. It’s leafy, umami-packed self-care in a compostable bowl. 5/5 kale leaves.
I came to visit my daughter in Austin from Nashville, Tennessee. I love our food but I fell in love all over again with their food! I have never eaten so much salad and kale in my life. It was that good! I swear it made my skin glow! I will be back this spring and I will treat myself to a salad a day. The chicken pesto.
Sweetgreen has arrived and the timing is perfect! Long hot summer + fresh delicious salads = much needed variety! I would never think to order a Buffalo Chicken Salad but the description got me and it did NOT disappoint. Super tasty and fresh. The staff was equally kind and accommodating. Service was super fast, social distancing and masks are required. There is a small patio to the side for al fresco dining and they are making take out pretty easy as well. Sweetgreen opens officially on August 12th.
If you’re eating here for the first time, I would say to look at the menu and write down all the ingredients that you like so that you know what you want when you get to the front of the line. They do have different plates that are already made, but they also let you create your own in case there’s certain ingredients you want or don’t want. I like all the options that they have here and my favorite thing about this place is probably the sweet potatoes, the mushrooms and the chickpeas anyways I got a harvest bowl with blackened chicken and instead of the kale I did the Romaine highly rate ten out of ten I think I would like to work here actually this is nice
